- Up @ 6am to get the kids fed and ready for Geoff's 8am soccer game (8am soccer games suck. Nobody is awake enough to do much.)
- In the car and halfway across town to see my niece, Cassi, play in Cedar Park. Boys and girls play together in CP and I think my niece was the toughest person on the field. She is turning into an amazing young lady and a pretty good athlete to boot.
- Back in the car and across to Round Rock (sidebar: I think the current gas prices may lead to the second American Revolution) for Peyton's soccer game at noon. The girls were awesome today (Goooo Purple Unicorns!!!!!!). They were really assertive and active today. Dominant again...oh, and Peyton scored four times. :)
- Lunch at Steak n Shake...sadly, I am not a big fan. Mighty Fine is just better.
We arrived back at the house tired and ready for some rest. So we did nothing this afternoon. True, we could have gotten alot done around the house but hanging out and watching Cubs v. Cardinals (Cubs Win! Back in first) was exactly the right thing to do. Sometimes being productive needs to take a back seat. We are not very good at remembering that all the time but on the days we do remember, life is good.
Ferris's words are as true today as ever. "Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.”
